Cranleigh Carpet Cleaners
We guarantee to restore your carpets to their original condition
Cath Services in Cranleigh employ the hot water extraction method of carpet cleaning, using non-caustic, eco-friendly, pet and child-safe detergents.
We follow an industry-approved ten-step protocol for carpet cleaning as outlined below, and fundamental to this is the inspection/survey which indicates which method of cleaning is best suited to the task at hand. In addition to carpets in Cranleigh, we are able to clean upholstery and fabrics such as curtains in situ.
- Inspection/Survey
A thorough survey is carried out in order to identify the level of soiling and permanency of any staining, and the potential for any shrinkage and damage to seams. The type of backing is also checked, as this may influence the cleaning method to be used.
- Dye Testing
Colours are chemically PH tested to ensure that we use the correct cleaning solution.
- Fibre Testing
The type of carpet fibre is established, as this helps to determine the best cleaning solution to use, and whether or not stains are removable
- Pile Combing
The carpet is combed to separate and de-matt the pile prior to cleaning.
- Vacuuming
After combing, the carpet is vacuumed to remove dust and grit, thereby preventing muddy deposits during cleaning.
- Stain Treatment
Stains are treated before the rest of the carpet, in order to ensure that they are fully removed.
- Spray Pre-Treatment
A spray pre-treatment is applied to the carpet, formulated according to the level of soiling and the weight of traffic across each area.
- Deep Cleaning
The entire carpet is then cleaned using the method identified at the inspection/survey stage.
- Hand Cleaning
Edges, stairs and other hard-to reach areas are cleaned by hand.
- Pile Realignment
The carpet pile is then re-set whilst damp, and furniture can be replaced as necessary.
With CATH Carpet Cleaning Cranleigh you will always receive work of the very highest standard and with that great service comes friendliness, professionalism and reliability.
